Vintrosa IS

Vintrosa IS was one of 82 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Vintrosa IS, 103 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Vintrosa IS could be found in Group 5 together with Ullern IF, Randesund IL 1, Skanderborg HB 1, IK Sävehof 2 and Clube Jovem Almeida Garett. Vintrosa IS continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Strandby-Elling IF with 12-14. In the Final, Lörenskog HK 1 won over Strandby-Elling IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Vintrosa IS comes from Vintrosa which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Vintrosa IS, the club Örebro SK Handboll does also originate from the area around Vintrosa.
