In addition to the two Selfoss teams, 97 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Selfoss 1 could be found in Group 13 together with Colégio São João de Brito, IFK Skövde 1, AGF Aarhus 2, OV Helsingborg 1 and Naerbö IL. Selfoss 1 continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against KA 1 with 13-20. In the Final, KA 1 won over Önnereds HK 2 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 16.
