Gjerpen IF

Gjerpen IF was one of 63 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Gjerpen IF, 95 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Gjerpen IF could be found in Group 5 together with HK Ankaret 3, HF Flensburg-Munkbrarup, Fram 1, Hjortshöj Egå IF and BK Heid. Gjerpen IF continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Levanger HK 2 with 11-12. In the Final, Stag SK 2 won over Baekkelaget SK and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Gjerpen comes from Skien which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Skien does also provide five additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2022 (Runar IL, Kragerö IF, Stag SK, Herkules IF and Uraedd Håndball).
