Handbalclub Aalst

Handbalclub Aalst was one of 7 clubs from Belgium that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Handbalclub Aalst, 72 other teams from 11 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Handbalclub Aalst could be found in Group 3 together with HK Aranäs, Lugi HF 1, Fjellhammer IL 1, Kolding IF 1 and Täby Centrum HK 2. Handbalclub Aalst continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against HBC Evergem with 12-18. In the Final, Fjellhammer IL 2 won over Baekkelaget SK and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 18. Aalst comes from Aalst which lies approximately 920 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Aalst does also provide five additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2022 (Don Bosco Gent HC, HK Waasmunster, Waasmunster DHC, HBC Dendermonde and HBC Evergem).
