Runar IL

Runar IL was one of 63 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Runar IL, 72 other teams from 11 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Runar IL could be found in Group 10 together with Hammarby IF 2, MTV Dänischenhagen, HK Waasmunster, Redbergslids IK 2 and Rødekro-Aabenraa Håndbold. Runar IL continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK with 20-26. In the Final, Önnereds HK won over Asaa BK and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18. Runar comes from Sandefjord which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Sandefjord does also provide six additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2022 (Vear/TT, Stag SK, Gjerpen IF, Herkules IF, IL Flint and Uraedd Håndball).
