VRI

VRI was one of 32 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to VRI, 95 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof VRI could be found in Group 15 together with RK Zagreb, Tollarps IF 2, RP IF Linköping 2, Elverum Håndball and Ski IL. VRI continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 1 with 12-16. In the Final, AGF Aarhus won over IK Sävehof 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16. VRI comes from RISSKOV which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around RISSKOV does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2022 (Hjortshöj Egå IF, Vorup FB, Hornbaek SF, Brabrand IF, Hörning Håndbold, Team Favrskov Håndbold, Skødstrup Håndbold, Skanderborg HB and AGF Aarhus).
