HSG Wetter/Grundschöttel

HSG Wetter/Grundschöttel was one of 20 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to HSG Wetter/Grundschöttel, 76 other teams from 13 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof HSG Wetter/Grundschöttel could be found in Group 2 together with BK Heid, Ystads IF, Colégio São João de Brito, Hörning Håndbold and Haslum IL 2. HSG Wetter/Grundschöttel continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Haslum IL 3 with 8-21. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK won over HK Ankaret and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 14. Wetter/Grundschöttel comes from Wetter which lies approximately 770 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than HSG Wetter/Grundschöttel, the club SV Teutonia 1919 Bochum-Riemke Handball e.V. does also originate from the area around Wetter.
