Melhus IL

Melhus IL was one of 63 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Melhus IL, 63 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Melhus IL could be found in Group 9 together with Skånela IF, Åsane HK, UKS MORSKI SIANÓW, HK Aranäs 1 and H43 Lund 2. Melhus IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against OV Helsingborg with 6-18. In the Final, OV Helsingborg won over Elverum Håndball 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 18. Melhus comes from Melhus which lies approximately 620 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Melhus does also provide six additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2022 (Freidig, Ranheim IL, Charlottenlund SK, Rapp SPKL, SPK Freidig and Utleira IL).
