Furuset IF

Furuset IF was one of 103 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Furuset IF, 135 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Furuset IF could be found in Group 10 together with Partille IF, Stjördals/Blink IL, Herning FH 1, Selfoss and AIK Handboll. Furuset IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Silkeborg-Voel KFUM with 11-13. In the Final, Skanderborg HB 1 won over Rødekro-Aabenraa Håndbold and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Furuset comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 34 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2019 (Among others: Oppsal IF, Haslum IL, Ullern IF, Eidsvold IF, Bygdö Monolitten IL, Lörenskog HK, Linje5, Ski IL, Ullern-BMIL and Fet IL).
