Ål IL

Ål IL was one of 103 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Ål IL, 135 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Ål IL could be found in Group 21 together with Fjölnir/Fylkir, Handbalschool Brabant 1, Skövde HF 1, Varde IL and Haslum IL. Ål IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Herning FH 1 with 5-11. In the Final, HSG Nordwest won over MTV Dänischenhagen and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 15. Ål comes from Ål which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Ål IL, the club Norway does also originate from the area around Ål.
