THW Kiel

THW Kiel was one of 26 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to THW Kiel, 74 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof THW Kiel could be found in Group 3 together with H43 Lund 1, Rudersdal Håndbold, IK Bolton 1, Sokol Vrsovice and HC Treia/Jübek. THW Kiel continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Enköpings HF with 15-30. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over Enköpings HF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18. THW Kiel also participated in Boys 18 during Partille Cup 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in B18 A-Play-off, but lost it against Skanderborg HB with 17-25. THW Kiel comes from Kiel which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Kiel does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2019 (TSV Kronshagen and MTV Dänischenhagen).
