Sarpsborg IL

Sarpsborg IL was one of 103 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Sarpsborg IL, 109 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Sarpsborg IL could be found in Group 17 together with Lörenskog HK 2, Brabrand IF, E.C Pinheiros, IK Sävehof 3 and Lugi HF 2. Sarpsborg IL continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 2 with 12-15. In the Final, Rödovre HK won over Handbalschool Brabant and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 13. Sarpsborg IL also participated in Girls 12 during Partille Cup 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in G12 A-Play-off, but lost it against Nordstrand IF with 2-13. Sarpsborg comes from Sarpsborg which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Sarpsborg does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2019 (Son HK, Tindlund IF, Flint Tønsberg Håndball, Kråkeröy IL, Falk Håndball, Teie IF and Tönsbergs Turn).
