Lier IL

Lier IL was one of 103 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Lier IL, 119 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Lier IL could be found in Group 1 together with BK Heid, BSV Münchenstein, Kävlinge HK, Linje5 and AGF Håndbold 1. Lier IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK 2 with 3-13. In the Final, Herning FH won over Lödde Vikings HK 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 14. Lier comes from Lier which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Lier does also provide 28 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2019 (Among others: Oppsal IF, Haslum IL, Ullern IF, Bygdö Monolitten IL, Linje5, Ski IL, Ullern-BMIL, Björndal IF, Baekkelaget SK and Nordstrand IF).
