RK Rugvica was one of 8 clubs from Croatia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2019. They participated with two teams in Boys 11 and Boys 12 respectively. The team in Boys 12 made it to the the Final in A-Play-off, but lost it against Slavonia HT by 4-5.

Rugvica comes from RUGVICA which lies approximately 1400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around RUGVICA does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2019 (RK Tresnjevka, Rugvica, ZRK, RK Zagreb and RS Zagreb).
