SV Sparta Werlte

SV Sparta Werlte was one of 21 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to SV Sparta Werlte, 63 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof SV Sparta Werlte could be found in Group 2 together with TSV Sieverstedt, Skanderborg HB, IK Sävehof 1, Go Hand Play, Tyresö Handboll 2 and Eskilstuna Guif 2. SV Sparta Werlte continued to B-Play-off after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against PLK Yao Ling Sun College with 14-20. In the Final, HK Ankaret won over AGF Håndbold and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 18. Sparta Werlte comes from Werlte which lies approximately 610 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than SV Sparta Werlte, the club TV Cloppenburg does also originate from the area around Werlte.
