MSC - Gopi Birla

MSC - Gopi Birla was one of five clubs from India that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to MSC - Gopi Birla, 101 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof MSC - Gopi Birla could be found in Group 16 together with Kungälvs HK 1, Strindheim IL 2, Fyllingen IL 1, RP IF 2 and Hjortshöj Egå IF. MSC - Gopi Birla continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Söreide IL 1 with 10-23. In the Final, IK Sävehof 2 won over Lugi HF 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 14. MSC - Gopi Birla comes from Mumbai which lies approximately 6500 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Mumbai does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (Phoenix Sports, Apeejay School, Walshingham School and SSRVM).
