Fortuna

Fortuna was one of 12 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Fortuna, 149 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 25 different groups, whereof Fortuna could be found in Group 7 together with Eskilstuna Guif 2, Nordstrand IF, Sarpsborg IL 1, Ski IL 2 and Kristianstad HK 1. Fortuna continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hornbaek SF with 11-12. In the Final, Bording KFUM won over Samara Region and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Fortuna comes from Moscow which lies approximately 1600 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Moscow does also provide six additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (SS Korolev, Victory, SS Tushino Moscow, Moscow team 2004, Moscow Region (2004) and SS 101 Moscow).
