Björnar IL

Björnar IL was one of 87 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Björnar IL, 63 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Björnar IL could be found in Group 6 together with Eskilstuna Guif 1, Schiffdorf TV, Lugi HF 3, Knack Handbalteam Roeselare and Besiktas SC. Björnar IL continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HC Dukla Prague with 13-19. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over IK Sävehof 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18. Björnar comes from Indre Arna which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Indre Arna does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (Among others: Bjarg IL, Sotra SK, Sædalen IL, Söreide IL, Osterøy IL, Bergen HK, Fana IL, Fyllingen IL, IL Gneist and Åsane HK).
