In addition to HIK, 97 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof HIK could be found in Group 12 together with Fram 2, Herning FH 2, IFK Kristianstad 1, IK Sävehof 2 and SS Tushino Moscow. HIK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Skanderborg HB with 15-18. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Skanderborg HB and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 14.
