Aztecas Mexico

Aztecas Mexico was one of three clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Aztecas Mexico, 63 other teams from 13 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Aztecas Mexico could be found in Group 5 together with HC Treia/Jübek, BRH, Tolered AIK, Skånela IF 2 and Vestre Bærum HK. Aztecas Mexico continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Norrköpings HK with 10-22. In the Final, HK Ankaret won over AGF Håndbold and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 18. Aztecas Mexico comes from Naucalpan which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Aztecas Mexico, the club Jaguares Mexico does also originate from the area around Naucalpan.
