Union West Wien

Union West Wien was the only club from Austria that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Union West Wien, 97 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Union West Wien could be found in Group 1 together with Torslanda HK 2, Kolding IF, Besiktas SC, Larvik Turn IF 2 and HK Ankaret. Union West Wien continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Rudersdal Håndbold 1 with 11-14. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Skanderborg HB and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 14. Union West Wien comes from Vienna which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place.
