Åhus Handboll

Åhus Handboll was one of 82 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Åhus Handboll, 93 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll could be found in Group 15 together with Recreio da Juventude, Haslum IL Röd, HSG Nordwest, RP IF, SG Handball EIdertal and ÖHK Hedensted. Åhus Handboll continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 1 with 6-14. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over Norrköpings HK and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 16. Åhus comes from Åhus which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (IFK Kristianstad, Kristianstad HK and Tollarps IF).
