VIES Håndbold

VIES Håndbold was one of 34 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to VIES Håndbold, 63 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof VIES Håndbold could be found in Group 7 together with Skånela IF 1, RP IF, HFF Munkbrarup, TJ Sokol Úvaly and IK Sävehof 2. VIES Håndbold continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against OV Helsingborg 2 with 15-17. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over IK Sävehof 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18. VIES Håndbold also participated in Boys 18 during Partille Cup 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in B18 A-Play-off, but lost it against E.C Pinheiros with 20-21. VIES comes from Vejle which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Vejle does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (ÖHK Hedensted, Kolding IF, Vejen HK and Trelde GI).
