Dicken

Dicken was one of 6 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Dicken, 101 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Dicken could be found in Group 11 together with Böler IF, Övrevoll Hosle IL 1, ASLM Handball, Kungälvs HK 2 and Kristianstad HK 2. Dicken continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Oppsal IF with 11-22. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over Helsingör IF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 14. Dicken comes from Helsingfors which lies approximately 770 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Helsingfors does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (HIFK Damhandboll, Finland, GrIFK and Helsingfors IFK).
