HC Lokeren

HC Lokeren was one of 7 clubs from Belgium that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to HC Lokeren, 63 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof HC Lokeren could be found in Group 3 together with PLK Yao Ling Sun College, IFK Nyköping, Önnereds HK 2, H43 Lund 1, Frogner IL and TSV Kronshagen. HC Lokeren continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Recreio da Juventude with 12-16. In the Final, HK Ankaret won over AGF Håndbold and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 18. Lokeren comes from Lokeren which lies approximately 900 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Lokeren does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (HBC Evergem, Don Bosco Gent HC, Waasmunster HK and HC Eeklo).
