HIFK Damhandboll

HIFK Damhandboll was one of 6 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to HIFK Damhandboll, 101 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof HIFK Damhandboll could be found in Group 2 together with TV Cloppenburg, Ski IL 1, Rapp SPKL, Torslanda HK 1 and RP IF 3. HIFK Damhandboll continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 2 with 12-15. In the Final, IK Sävehof 2 won over Lugi HF 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 14. HIFK Damhandboll comes from Helsingfors which lies approximately 780 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Helsingfors does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (Finland, GrIFK, Dicken and Helsingfors IFK).
