Runar IL

Runar IL was one of 87 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Runar IL, 97 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Runar IL could be found in Group 13 together with IF Stjernen 2, Vassunda IF, TJ Sokol Úvaly, Norrköpings HK and Herkules IF 1. Runar IL continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 1 with 10-18. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Skanderborg HB and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 14. Runar comes from Sandefjord which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Sandefjord does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (Pors, Herkules IF, Gjerpen IF, Teie IF, Halsen IF, Tönsbergs Turn, Flint Tønsberg Håndball, Larvik Turn IF, Borre IF and Urädd Håndball).
