Årsta AIK

Årsta AIK was one of 82 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Årsta AIK, 101 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Årsta AIK could be found in Group 1 together with Fjellhammer IL 1, Furuset Håndball IF, Söreide IL 2, Kelvinside and IK Sävehof 1. Årsta AIK continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Bygdö Monolitten IL with 6-11. In the Final, IK Sävehof 2 won over Lugi HF 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 14. Årsta AIK comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (Among others: Kungsängens SK, HK Silwing/Troja, Älta IF, Huddinge HK, Hammarby IF, Täby HBK, Skuru IK, Sollentuna HK, Stockholmspolisens IF and Bollstanäs SK).
