About Hammarby IF
Hammarby IF was one of 82 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with three teams in Boys 14, Boys 15 and Boys 16 respectively. The team in Boys 16 made it to the the 1/4 Final in B-Play-off, but lost it against Elverum IL by 14-18.
In addition to this, Hammarby IF have participated in Partille Cup before. During Partille Cup 2017, Hammarby had 5 teams playing in Boys 13, Boys 15, Boys 18 and Girls 15 respectively. The team in Boys 15 made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-Play-off, but lost it against H 71 1 by 11-18.
Hammarby comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (Among others: Kungsängens SK, Årsta AIK, HK Silwing/Troja, Älta IF, Huddinge HK, Täby HBK, Skuru IK, Sollentuna HK, Stockholmspolisens IF and Bollstanäs SK).
