In addition to HEBS, 11 other teams from 6 different countries played in Boys 21. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof HEBS could be found in Group 2 together with Önnereds HK, Skånela IF, HV Quintus, HBC Evergem and Lugi HF. HEBS made it to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Hörning Håndbold with 17-23. Thereby HEBS finished second in B21 B-Play-off during Partille Cup 2017.
