In addition to the two Selfoss teams, 74 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Selfoss 1 could be found in Group 9 together with Hebraica, TSG Münster, Skanderborg HB, Enköpings HF and Elverum IL. Selfoss 1 continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against HK Aranäs 1 with 16-17. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 16.
