ABACO/MESC

ABACO/MESC was one of 11 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to ABACO/MESC, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof ABACO/MESC could be found in Group 9 together with Nit/Hak HK 1, Austrått IL 2, Torslanda HK 1, HK Ankaret and Fjellhammer IL 2. ABACO/MESC continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund with 13-18. In the Final, Bording KFUM won over Nit/Hak HK 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 14. ABACO/MESC comes from São Paulo which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around São Paulo does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (BRH Clube, Colegio st Americo, HEBS, CPH, E.C Pinheiros, SC Corinthians, SANTA CRUZ, UNI and Hebraica).
