Gökstens BK

Gökstens BK was one of 78 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Gökstens BK, 110 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Gökstens BK could be found in Group 3 together with Hönefoss SK 2, Ull/Kisa IL 1, Bjarg IL 2, MTV Dänischenhagen and HK Aranäs. Gökstens BK continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Grotta with 11-12. In the Final, Oppegård IL 1 won over Skedsmo HK 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Gökstens comes from Eskilstuna which lies approximately 310 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Eskilstuna does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Eskilstuna Guif, Hallstahammars SK and Västeråsirsta HF).
