BK-46 Karis

BK-46 Karis was one of 7 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to BK-46 Karis, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof BK-46 Karis could be found in Group 1 together with IK Sävehof 2, IFK Malmö, Konnerud IL, Furesø Håndbold and SCF. BK-46 Karis continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HIK/KFUM with 5-16. In the Final, HIK/KFUM won over Nordstrand IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 18. BK-46 Karis comes from Raseborg which lies approximately 710 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than BK-46 Karis, the club Sjundeå IF does also originate from the area around Raseborg.
