Nordre land IL

Nordre land IL was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Nordre land IL, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Nordre land IL could be found in Group 9 together with Lugi HF 1, Lörenskog HK, Grotta, Schiffdorf TV, SC Corinthians and Alberta Team Handball 2. Nordre land IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 7:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against SG Oeversee JW with 10-18. In the Final, HIK/KFUM won over Nordstrand IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 18. Nordre land comes from Dokka which lies approximately 360 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Nordre land IL, the club Gjövik HK does also originate from the area around Dokka.
