Dolgoprudniy

Dolgoprudniy was one of 8 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Dolgoprudniy, 129 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Dolgoprudniy could be found in Group 21 together with Nordstrand IF 2, HK Silwing/Troja, Sportfreunde Hamborn 07 Handball e.V., Skedsmo HK, Konnerud IL 1 and Hörning Håndbold 2. Dolgoprudniy continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kjelsås IL with 9-16. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Helsingör IF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Dolgoprudniy comes from Dolgoprudniy which lies approximately 1500 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Dolgoprudniy does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (SS Tushino Moscow, Fortuna, Palestra sport and Dvorets-Moscow).
