Lyon

Lyon was one of four clubs from France that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Lyon, 75 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Lyon could be found in Group 2 together with Mashrhino, GF Kroppskultur, Skånela IF, IFK Skövde and HBC Evergem. Lyon continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Selfoss 1 with 18-25. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 16. Lyon comes from Lyon which lies approximately 1400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place.
