IF Helsinge Atlas

IF Helsinge Atlas was one of 7 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IF Helsinge Atlas, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof IF Helsinge Atlas could be found in Group 3 together with Nordstrand IF, Falk Håndball, Lugi HF 2, Girls High School and Torslanda HK. IF Helsinge Atlas continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Tertnes IL with 11-16. In the Final, HIK/KFUM won over Nordstrand IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 18. IF Helsinge Atlas also participated in Girls 18 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in G18 B-Play-off, but lost it against IF Hellton with 7-29. Helsinge Atlas comes from Vanda which lies approximately 790 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Vanda does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (HC Kiffen, Dicken, Helsingfors IFK and EOC Finland).
