Sorunda IF

Sorunda IF was one of 78 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Sorunda IF, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Sorunda IF could be found in Group 5 together with FC Midtjylland, Tertnes IL, IK Våg HK, Alberta Team Handball 1, Kärra HF and SG Mittelangeln. Sorunda IF made it to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against FC Midtjylland, which they won with 16-14. Thereby Sorunda IF won the entire A-Play-off in Girls 18 during Partille Cup 2017. Sorunda comes from Sorunda which lies approximately 360 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Sorunda does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (IFK Tumba and Skogås HK).
