HK 73 Frederikssund

HK 73 Frederikssund was one of 40 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to HK 73 Frederikssund, 110 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof HK 73 Frederikssund could be found in Group 4 together with Son HK, Sollentuna HK, Kungälvs HK, Sörumsand IF and TuS Ickern. HK 73 Frederikssund continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against FC Midtjylland with 4-14. In the Final, FC Midtjylland won over Skövde HF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16. 73 Frederikssund comes from Frederikssund which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Frederikssund does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: FIF Håndbold, BK Ydun, HIK/KFUM, Rödovre HK, Furesø Håndbold, Vaerlöse HK, Hornbaek IF, KIES, Helsingör IF and AG Håndbold).
