Vassunda IF

Vassunda IF was one of 78 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Vassunda IF, 100 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Vassunda IF could be found in Group 7 together with H43 Lund 3, Frogner IL 2, IR, Li Shin Junior High School and Schule Viöl. Vassunda IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Selfoss with 12-16. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over H 71 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 15. Vassunda IF also participated in Boys 14 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in B14 B-Play-off, but lost it against Alexandria Team 4 with 7-9. Vassunda comes from Knivsta which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Knivsta does also provide five additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Täby HBK, Kungsängens SK, Skånela IF, Sollentuna HK and Spånga HK).
