IFK Tumba

IFK Tumba was one of 78 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to IFK Tumba, 54 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba could be found in Group 6 together with HK Aranäs 2, Lörenskog HK, IK Baltichov 1, AG Håndbold and BK Heid. IFK Tumba continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against BK Ydun 1 with 4-14. In the Final, Kråkeröy IL won over H 71 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 12. IFK Tumba also participated in Girls 11 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in G11 A-Play-off, but lost it against Da-Hsin Elementary School with 6-23. IFK Tumba comes from Tumba which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Tumba does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: Skuru IK, Täby HBK, Tyresö Handboll, Stockholmspolisens IF, Hammarby IF, AIK Handboll, Lidingö SK, Bollstanäs SK, Sorunda IF and Sannadals SK).
