Melhus/Gimse

Melhus/Gimse was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Melhus/Gimse, 75 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Melhus/Gimse could be found in Group 10 together with Alberta Team Handball, Önnereds HK, Valur 1, HC Lokeren, SANTA CRUZ and Åhus Handboll. Melhus/Gimse continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund 1 with 13-17. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 16. Melhus/Gimse comes from Melhus which lies approximately 610 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Melhus does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Rapp/Freidig, Strindheim IL, Ranheim IL, Tiller IL, Rapp SPKL, Charlottenlund SK, Charlottenlund Elite, Flatås IL and Freidig/Rapp).
