Dicken

Dicken was one of 7 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Dicken, 129 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Dicken could be found in Group 5 together with OV Helsingborg 2, Kungälvs HK 1, Helsingör IF, Kolbotn IL 1 and Enköpings HF. Dicken continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hammel GF with 14-17. In the Final, Bording KFUM won over Nit/Hak HK 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 14. Dicken comes from Helsingfors which lies approximately 770 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Helsingfors does also provide five additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (HC Kiffen, IF Helsinge Atlas, Helsingfors IFK, EOC Finland and Sjundeå IF).
