IK Bolton

IK Bolton was one of 78 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IK Bolton, 100 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof IK Bolton could be found in Group 15 together with HH90, Chekhovskie Medvedi-UOR 4, Al Sadd Club Tétouan Handball, Grotta 1, Skanderborg HB and Kärra HF 2. IK Bolton continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ski IL 2 with 13-16. In the Final, TJ Dukla Praha 1 won over Ski IL 2 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 15. IK Bolton also participated in Boys 14 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/32 Final in B14 B-Play-off, but lost it against Fjellhammer IL 2 with 10-11. Bolton comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: Skuru IK, Täby HBK, Tyresö Handboll, Stockholmspolisens IF, Hammarby IF, IFK Tumba, Åkersberga HK, AIK Handboll, Lidingö SK and Bollstanäs SK).
