Björndal IF

Björndal IF was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Björndal IF, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Björndal IF could be found in Group 2 together with Skövde HF 1, Ull/Kisa IL 1, Handball Laval, Sollentuna HK and Oppsal IF. Björndal IF continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Skanderborg HB with 16-22. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over AIK Handboll 2 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 14. Björndal IF also participated in Girls 13 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in G13 A-Play-off, but lost it against Bording KFUM with 11-20. Björndal comes from Oslo which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 40 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: Haslum IL, Ullern IF, Oppsal IF, Reistad IL, Langhus IL, Oppegård IL, Asker SK, Vestre Bærum HK, Njård IL and Baekkelaget SK).
