IK Våg HK

IK Våg HK was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IK Våg HK, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof IK Våg HK could be found in Group 5 together with Sorunda IF, FC Midtjylland, Tertnes IL, Alberta Team Handball 1, Kärra HF and SG Mittelangeln. IK Våg HK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against FC Midtjylland with 12-18. In the Final, Sorunda IF won over FC Midtjylland and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 18. Våg comes from Kristiansand which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than IK Våg HK, the club Kristiansand/Otra/AK28 does also originate from the area around Kristiansand.
