Sörumsand IF

Sörumsand IF was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Sörumsand IF, 110 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Sörumsand IF could be found in Group 4 together with HK 73 Frederikssund, Son HK, Sollentuna HK, Kungälvs HK and TuS Ickern. Sörumsand IF continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kristiansand/Otra/AK28 2 with 5-11. In the Final, Oppegård IL 1 won over Skedsmo HK 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Sörumsand IF also participated in Girls 15 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/32 Final in G15 B-Play-off, but lost it against Lugi HF 2 with 4-11. Sörumsand comes from Sørumsand which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Sørumsand does also provide 33 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: Ullern IF, Oppsal IF, Björndal IF, Langhus IL, Ull/Kisa IL, Oppegård IL, Njård IL, Baekkelaget SK, Frogner IL and Skedsmo HK).
