Herkules IF

Herkules IF was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Herkules IF, 110 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Herkules IF could be found in Group 2 together with Herning FH, Hönefoss SK 1, Kävlinge HK, Bjarg IL 1 and SG Oeversee JW. Herkules IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 1 with 7-18. In the Final, FC Midtjylland won over Skövde HF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16. Herkules IF also participated in Girls 15 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in G15 B-Play-off, but lost it against OV Helsingborg with 13-14. Herkules comes from Skien which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Skien does also provide six additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Gjerpen IF, Nesjar IF, Halsen IF, Urädd Håndball, Larvik Turn IF and Kragerö IF).
