HC Lokeren

HC Lokeren was one of four clubs from Belgium that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to HC Lokeren, 75 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof HC Lokeren could be found in Group 10 together with Alberta Team Handball, Önnereds HK, Valur 1, Melhus/Gimse, SANTA CRUZ and Åhus Handboll. HC Lokeren continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against E.C Pinheiros with 11-30. In the Final, E.C Pinheiros won over IFK Nyköping and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 16. HC Lokeren also participated in Boys 15 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in B15 B-Play-off, but lost it against HK Varberg with 14-20. Lokeren comes from Lokeren which lies approximately 900 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Lokeren does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (HBC Evergem and Don Bosco Gent HC).
